Manchester born Wendy Richardson trained with the Northern Royal School of Music. From her early professional days as Britain’s youngest theatre organist, she has built a career which spans over 30 years, gaining a reputation as being a formidable Musical Director, who settles for nothing less than perfection in every performance.

After being recognised with several regional awards for musicianship, Wendy was soon filling prime spots for the BBC. Her ability to achieve such a high level of professionalism has allowed her to build a CV which any musician would be proud of.

Hailed by her peers as an outstanding musician, she is constantly in demand as not only a player but also as a band leader and musical director. She has many national tours to her credit and is highly respected on the variety entertainment circuit. Her accolades include, backing named artists such as Cannon & Ball, Brian Connolly, Stu Francis, Mick Miller, Bernard Manning and even a young Russell Watson to name a few.

After spending time playing keyboards for major cruise lines and hotel chains, Wendy has brought her unwavering enthusiasm and huge repertoire of music to the smaller and more intimate platform of Lounge/Cocktail pianist. With an eclectic mixture of standards, Funk, Soul and pop, she is becoming a feature of many corporate and private events.
